International Women’s Day

In order to mark International Women’s Day on March 8th, the Exchange Gallery hosted a presentation by members of several local W.I. groups including Mount’s Bay, Crowlas & Ludgvan, Madron, Perranuthnoe, Carbis Bay and Sheffield.
Each speaker focussed on one aspect of the W.I. and, using a variety of articles to illustrate their talk, spoke about what the W.I. means to them.
The photos show some of the colourful banners on display Liz Anderson with a variety of W.I. badges past and present, Hilary Cattran with Madron’ s beautifully embroidered tablecloth and Helen Kestle with the notebook documenting charitable awards made by the old Ludgvan W.I.
