Our February meeting introduced us to Lesley Ross, who makes the most beautiful silver jewellery at her studio on the smallholding she runs with her husband in Helston.
Lesley’s enterprise began as an enthusiasm which developed from attending evening classes in Helston and eventually led to a successful commercial venture. She brought with her examples of the raw materials and tools of her trade and described the processes which eventually result in the beautiful bangles, rings and cuffs which we were able to admire. A visit to her studios at a later date may be on the cards!
Meanwhile, you can see more of Lesley’s work, and read about her smallholding, at her website: http://www.lesleyrossjewellery.co.uk
